The Drop was made through layer after layer of thick, glossy, acrylic paint. I had the idea for this piece come to me after a two-hour car ride with my sister. We drove around the curviest roads we could find and watched the colors of the sky change. Our perspective being shifted and parts of the visible sight being kept from us as the dipped up and down from hill to hill. I hope looking at this paint you get the same feelings that moment brought to me.
